What actually happens: Today, I attempted the initial setup and driver installation of the Starling Max 2 drone by following the user manual, which provides two connection methods: Wi-Fi and USB-C. Since the desktop computer did not have a Wi-Fi module, I chose the USB-C method. I first connected the batteries, and the drone started normally with its LEDs lighting up. I then connected the drone to the desktop using a USB-C cable. While searching for the required drivers, I noticed a burning smell and found that the drone had become extremely hot. I immediately disconnected both the USB-C cable and the batteries to prevent further damage.
