# ModalAI Options for Confined Space Entry and LNG Operations?

Hi there - hope this note finds you well. Would love to learn more about ModalAI options (or, more broadly, drone candidates in general) for intrinsically safe environments (i.e., avoiding the risk of fumes, gas vapors, etc. reaching a specific explosive limit when exposed to oxygen and a device requiring electrical power is in operation) like an LNG plant. Other use cases could be at a compressor station, a steam station, gas maintenance tunnels, or inside any of our client's tunnels where a gas main is present.
 
We are interested in drones that have collision avoidance, battery life longer than 10 minutes, quick charge time for batteries, and to be equipped with LiDAR for 3D mapping of an area inspected and ultrasonic sensors for thinning/thickness of materials.
 
The drone would also need to be Blue or Green certified, and have hardware not made by hostile areas defined by the USA (ex: China, North Korea, Russia, etc), as this would need to be approved by our IT Cybersecurity team.
