Hi,

1) Can I swap out the VOXL 2 autopilot for a VOXL 2 Mini on my Starling 2 UAV? Other than accelerometer calibration, and configuring the extrinsics, is there anything else that needs to be done to get it working with the C27 configuration? I would also need to integrate a FLIR 3.5 Lepton sensor in the future.

2) Is the VOXL 2 Mini compatible with the Microhard pMDDL 2450 modem? [This carrier board](https://www.modalai.com/products/mdk-m0048-2) seems to be for the pDDL modem. Is the same carrier board compatible with the pMDDL 2450 modem or is there another carrier board? Is there any software development effort to integrate the VOXL 2 Mini and the Microhard pMDDL 2450 modem? I wanted to use this modem to have multiple UAVs on the same RF network in a mesh architecture.

Thanks,
George

@george-kollamkulam

To use the same image sensors as C27 on Starling 2 with VOXL 2 Mini, you will need to work through connecting the TOF and the other 4 sensors. No adapter comes to mind that would support it. Two of the tracking would need to be configured as a stereo pair as well as VOXL 2 Mini only has 4 MIPI-CSI inputs. It's all probably technically possible, but a significant effort

VOXL 2 Mini is software compatible with the standalone Microhard carrier, but that board will need more power than VOXL 2 Mini can provide. So, you'll need to power separately.
