# Upgrading Starling 2 Max (C28) model to C29 Model

Hello ModalAI,

We have purchased a **Starling 2 Max (C28)** model, we missed the option to select the **ToF (C29)** that allows for obstacle avoidance... 

Do you recommend us to return the (C28) drone and request (C29) model ? Or Can we just upgrade our C28 drone to C29 model by purchasing some module and plug it in to C28 model ourselves ?
