# Starling Motor Replacement

Hello,

I'm trying to find motor replacements for the Starling.

The [Starling V2 Datasheet](https://docs.modalai.com/starling-v2-datasheet/) mentioned 1504 Motors, but do not mention the kV with it.

Can anyone please confirm the exact Specs. of the motors?

@Alex-Kushleyev I have recently placed an order for it so haven't received them yet.

Should I expect them to be like this (black?)
If yes, can you please mention the configuration for these motors?

@SMRazaRizvi look at your original starling motors and if they are black then this is the correct part.

@Alex-Kushleyev I haven't received my Starling yet. I'm trying to arrange the spare parts while I wait for the drone to be delivered.

The ones shown on the product page on the website were silver in color.

Anyways, the config for both silver and black is 1504, 3000kv, right?

@SMRazaRizvi , the silver and black motors are slightly different. Can you share exact version of starling that you purchased (SKU). We will check which motors it uses.

@SMRazaRizvi , I just double checked and all the new Starlings are shipping with the new black motors, so the above link is correct for ordering the spares. These motors are custom designed for ModalAI and the specs are provided at the bottom of that link. We will work on updating the photos of the product.
