Hello, 

I am unbricking my VOXL2 using QDL. It seems to be taking much longer than 10-15 minutes. More like an hour and it is still not done
I am in a virtual box. 
Modem Manager is turned off

I get a new block of text about every 5 minutes

Using a VM might be causing a slowdown, but even USB2 vs. USB3 cables can have a pretty big effect on QDL speed. 
Suggestion: ensure communicating over USB3

I am also going to attempt to flash from a laptop running ubuntu on bare metal.

So I double checked, I am using USB3.0.
I also am using Ubuntu 22.04 now on a bare metal macbook air.

It is not FINISHED yet, but it is going a lot faster. 

If anyone is experiencing slow qdl, would definitely be worth using Ubuntu on bare metal and ENSURING you are using USB3.0

Yeah...It finished in under 10 minutes. 

no virtual machine
ensure usb3
