# What is the recommended battery for the VOXL m500?

We use these batteries for internal testing (with the XT60 connector):

The m500 frame has been optimized for a battery with a physical size of the battery above.

Electrically, the m500 ships with the the ModalAI Power Module v2 and more recently the Power Module v3.

Both have an XT60 connector.  The PMv2 supports 2S-5S, whereas the PMv3 supports 2S-6S.
