Hello,
I am working on system image 1.4.1 on voxl2. I am having very simple doubt. I do not have Dual camera adapter cable [as shown here](https://www.modalai.com/products/m0084) with me for connecting Hires camera as shown in voxl2 camera config [as shown here](https://docs.modalai.com/voxl2-camera-configs/#c4---tracking-and-hires-only). My query is can Interposer work for connecting hires camera directly to VOXL2 over J6/J7/J8 along with tracking camera connected seperately over interposer on J6/J7/J8?

Expecting a fast response.

Hi @Aks ,

Currently no, the connectors J6 and J8 have been optimized for stereo sensors and can't be used (fully) with the M0084 dual camera adapter.

If you plug in the M0084 dual camera adapter to J6 and J8, the upper port (silkscreen JU) won't work at all... An ov7251 will work on the lower (silkscreen JL) but show up as a stereo sensor (single) and will be inverted in the rear.

For now, unless it's captured in the docs, it's unlikely to work. This is an area that we are actively improving and attempting to make more generic, but in general there are requirements in the system image to support different sensors that roughly require a new kernel to support.

@modaltb Thanks for the information. I get the information partially. Isn't interposer M0076 capable to work on J7 with hires camera? Whenever I connect them on J7 VOXL dosent boot up. I need very quick fix for this since its ciritical for one of my project deadline and I dont have time to procure M0084 right now.

@modaltb Sorry for repetative query over this issue. Can I upgrade my system image to beta version 1.5.2 for getting support for Hires camera with interposer M0076 as mentioned [in this link](https://forum.modalai.com/topic/1629/some-general-questions-issues-with-voxl2?_=1677926386216) ? I got confused since its mentioned over here that after upgrade hires would be available on camera sensor ID 0,2,3 and 4.

@modaltb @Chad-Sweet Please refer to my query. I want to connect M0025 IMX214 hires camera to VOXL2 via M0076 interposer as mentioned on [this link](https://docs.modalai.com/voxl2-feature-matrix/#voxl-accessory-compatibility). But this isnt working. Please help me in this regards. My Hires camera is set to ID 1 in voxl-camera-server.config and it is connected to J7 which is camera group 1 with M0076 interposer.

Hi @Aks .

In the production release, the only spot right now is cameraID 3... This is an artifact of this kernel being used on our Sentinel reference drone, which uses M0084 + Hires off J7.

Please refer to this to the supported camera configs, if it's not here it's likely not going to work at this time.

We do want to make this easier and are working on making it more flexible where sensors are allowed to be plugged into and work.

@modaltb I updated system image from production release 1.4.1 to beta release 1.5.2. With this release I am able to get hires stream over camera ID 0 (J6 connector) and tracking camera over camera ID 1 (J7 connector). Any problems which you forsee in beta release 1.5.2? I want to work on GPS and VIO based navigation only on PX4 1.12.31 beta release.

Hi @Aks I will need to investigate, our beta releases are subject to bugs as they've not gone through our standard test flow and are generally provided to end users to test out a particular feature.

So I do not trust the beta image for flight at this point, we've not posted one of these beta images publicly so if you have it it's likely to test a one off feature and not recommended for flight...
