# IR Lock with VOXL m500

Hello,

I currently have the IR Lock Sensor shown here: https://irlock.com/collections/ir-markers/products/ir-lock-sensor-precision-landing-kit

It appears to communicate via I2C. I have been looking at the m500 datasheets and am unsure as to how to connect these two devices together. 

Please assist.

Hi Xeno,

We are not familiar with that sensor. The Flight Core portion of m500 is stock PX4. 

You could look at the connectors found on the [Flight Core datasheet](https://docs.modalai.com/flight-core-datasheets-connectors/) and see if there is an appropriate connection. Then you could see if PX4 supports that sensor. If it does not, you will need to develop the driver on your own.
