I am currently using voxl-px4_1.4.28-202209292009_arm64.deb on voxl2 with voxl2 IO board and 40 amps readytosky esc. It seems like the autotune feature is not working for voxl2. How to fix it?

Autotune is a feature of PX4 1.13. We're currently on a fork of PX4 1.12 on VOXL 2. Once we upgrade, that feature should become available.

We are working hard to get the VOXL 2 PX4 fully mainlined, it's still 3 to 6 months away though as it is a lot of work.

@Chad-Sweet Any update on this, as it has been about five months since then?

No, no update as of now. We are still probably 2 months away from having a stable 1.14 release

@Chad-Sweet I am also curious about the autotune feature and when it will be released. Any updates on this at this time?

We do not manage the autotune feature and do not use it. That feature is a part of PX4 1.14, which we are still working on and hoping to target our release closely after the stable PX4 1.14 release.

@rohitpillai

I would like to add that the auto-tune feature is not a turn-key fix all feature. you still need to tune filters, and do a bit of tuning yourself before initiating auto-tune.
auto-tune gets you the last 20% of tuning, you have to do 80%. and even after that it still might need some adjusting based on how you want your UAV to fly
