# Is Doodle labs Helix smart radio non-LOS capable?

Hello,
 I am using VOXL2 on one of our aircraft and we are building indoor UAV. I recently came across [Doodle labs](https://www.modalai.com/products/mini-oem-smart-radio?variant=40946775654451) smart radio and had following questions.

* Is this smart radio capable to operate in non LOS conditions say ground control station outside building and UAV navigating in indoor/enclosed space?

* If this radio can operate in non LOS conditions, what is maximum operating range in non LOS situation for this radio?

@Aks You can probably get better answers by contacting Doodle Labs themselves and VOXL2 really only acts as a bridge to pass through data to the Doodle Labs network as the smart radios handle most of the networking themselves.
