I'm using a VOXL 1 running voxl-qvio-server on the tracking camera and voxl-streamer to stream live videos from the hi res.

With just the qvio tracking enabled, the CPU load hovers between 15-20%. Once the voxl-streamer runs (1280*720), the CPU load goes as high as 45-50% and dumps out alot of heat.

Is this normal? Is there anyway to optimize/reduce the loading?

Thanks

You're utilizing some CPU hungry programs so they would indeed spike the CPU load. @modaltb @Vinny can chime in on this
