# Fly outside with/without GPS using VOXL flight deck

I bought VOXL flight deck. Set it on my drone. What next? Changed ekf2_aid_mask. Something else? I need to fly outside using GPS, but sometimes there are no GPS signal and I want to use vio. Can someone help me please?

@Anton-Gereles Try to upload these parameters - https://gitlab.com/voxl-public/flight-core-px4/px4-parameters/-/blob/master/helpers/m500/ekf2_indoor_vio.params

This will allow you to fly outdoors without GPS using VIO.
