Hi,
I am brand new to VOXL, just unpacking my VOXL Flight Deck Kit.
Some of the startup pages point to a [12v supply](https://www.modalai.com/products/ps-xt60), others point to a [5v supply](https://www.modalai.com/products/voxl-acc-ps) to the Power Module. The silkscreen on my power module says: MODALAI APM LITE, M0041 REV B, **5V/12V**. That implies (to me) that either will work, but I wanna be sure. Is 5V-8A supply compatible with that power module?
Thanks

Please see the datasheet for APMv3 [here](https://docs.modalai.com/power-module-v3-datasheet/#inputs)

The APM supports 2S to 6S inputs

The 5V/12V silkscreen is referring to the output. We have a 12V output version in that same footprint, but we don't generally sell it. VOXL requires 5V input, so the APM you have is 5V output.

Great, thanks!

@Chad-Sweet Sorry but I gotta make sure we're on the same page here (really don't wanna see any smoke!). I just need to make sure I supply the right voltage into the power module...
I'm following the [page for the flight deck](https://docs.modalai.com/flight-deck/). It just says the power module accepts a battery input. So I go to the [VOXL Flight Quickstart](https://docs.modalai.com/voxl-flight-quickstart/) page but it doesn't talk about the power module at all. That leads me to the [VOXL Quickstart page](https://docs.modalai.com/voxl-quickstarts/) which points to a [5V power supply](https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=wr9qa6000lcp) and has a warning [here](https://docs.modalai.com/voxl-quickstarts/#power-supply) not to use a 12V power supply.
Hopefully you can see my reason for hesitation. Anyway, I see the APMv3 specs, but just want to confirm with you that my Power Module (with the markings I mention above) is definitely the [APMv3](https://docs.modalai.com/power-module-v3-datasheet/#inputs) (which clearly requires a 12V supply).

@Ed-Sutter older versions of the APM had a barrel jack as well as an XT60 connector. On the older versions you can only put 5V into the barrel jack. You can give the XT60 12V just fine.

Got it, thanks to both.
Sorry for the paranoia!
