Is it possible to significantly increase the payload capacity of a Sentinel 2 vehicle? 

What kind of necessary parts + work would be needed to make the Sentinel 2 lift a larger payload?

@Slade-Villena The Voxl2 flight deck is the only payload that we've configured the Sentinel drone for and tested for. We don't recommend a specific additional payload type or weight because we haven't tested for it but of course the customer is always welcome to modify their drone as they want. With that said, the maximum additional weight that the Sentinel should be able to lift in it's default configuration is around 1.3 kg.

@Jeremy-Schmidt is it possible to swap out motors/parts and achieve higher payload capacity? If so, what kind of work should I expect to do?

Is it possible? Yes, but we highly discourage modifying our Sentinel platform in this way as we have not built it for these purposes. May I ask how much additional payload mass you're wanting to add?

I'm hoping to reach up to 3kg - 5kg range. I'm not sure if its possible to tune current motors to increase payload capacity (or maybe just swapping out propellers?)

Either way, 1300 grams for total payload capacity feels tight, and I'm hoping the Sentinel 2 can be easily modified somehow.

The [VOXL 2 Flight Deck](https://www.modalai.com/products/voxl-2-flight-deck?variant=40503626039347) exists just for this purpose. You can use that to build your own drone around VOXL 2 to meet your specifications
